Terms of use
There is no account to breach, nothing hosted and no payment to dispute, so this is short.
What you are agreeing to
By using ResizePicture you accept what is written here. It is short because the site is small: there is no account to breach, no content to host and no payment to dispute.
Your pictures are yours
We claim no rights over anything you open here and could not exercise one if we did — no file reaches us. What you do with the results is between you and whoever owns the original. Resizing a photograph does not make you its owner, and this site is not a way around anybody else's copyright.
No warranty, and what that means in practice
The tool is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will work on any particular file, in any particular browser, or at all. That is not boilerplate here — browsers differ in what they can decode, how much memory they will allocate to a canvas and which formats they can write, and this site is at the mercy of all three. Specific things that can and do go wrong:
- A very large picture can exhaust the tab's memory and fail, sometimes silently. The guardrails on this site exist to make that rare, not impossible.
- A browser can refuse to write a format it claims to support, which is why the format list is probed rather than assumed.
- A file whose contents do not match its extension may not open, or may open and look wrong.
Keep your originals. Check the result before you rely on it. Nothing here is a substitute for looking at the file you just saved.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law where you are allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using this site — including a picture that came out wrong, a deadline missed, or a form that rejected a file this page produced. If your local law does not allow that exclusion, the liability is limited to the amount you have paid to use this site, which is nothing.
Fair use of the site
Use it as much as you like. Do not attempt to script it, embed it in another product, or use it to process material that is illegal where you are. There is no rate limit to hit, because there is no server to overload — the work happens on your own machine, and the only thing you can exhaust is your own.
Advertising and third parties
This site is built to show Google AdSense, though no advertising unit is served today. Cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics is active. Each service is governed by its company’s terms and privacy policy, and what it can and cannot see is set out in ours.
Which law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If a court finds any part of this page unenforceable, the rest of it stands.
